About

My name is Kathryn. I enjoy unexpected pairings and prompting people to reconsider their preconceived notions about dang near everything. While attending Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario I learned about digital humanities and almost immediately became interested in the contrast of the traditional work done in the humanities field with modern technology. I’ve spent the past two years taking classes with Dr. Shawn Graham specifically pertaining to Digital History as I work towards completing my BA in, you guessed it, History.

This semester, I have the pleasure of being chosen as a George Garth Graham Fellow. This fellowship allows me to work with faculty at the university on building my understanding and skills concerning digital history without the pressure and fear of grades. You can follow my research over the course of my fellowship on this blog, find me via the social media links at the top of the page, or send me an email.
